After touring with mega group YES and its lead singer Jon Anderson, John experimented with infrared light and lasers to translate motion into sound.

 

Through this experimentation, his proprietary creation known as the “Hydra” was born.

 

Since then, MOBIUS8 has performed for numerous Cirque Du Soleil premiers, Dick Clark, Stan Lee, Steven Spielberg, Justin Timberlake, Armin Van Buure and Deadmau5.

 

Other MOBIUS8 credits include appearances on ABC’s ”World News Tonight,” NBC, CBS, FOX News, Discovery Channel, Globo in South America, American Airlines “In Flight News,” and Fuji Networks Japan.

 

A recent MOBIUS8 performance art event found him at the foot of the Great Pyramids in Giza, Egypt with Riverdance and Mariah Carey.

 

He filmed an NBC Christmas Special with Cee Lo, Rod Stewart and the Muppets, that is aired each holiday

season. 

 

He also toured with Cee-Lo Green performed at Lollapalooza and Beats on the Beach in Abu Dhabi. 

 

MOBIUS8 shot a Dr. Pepper commercial with international recording artist, Pit Bull and also was featured in his music video for “Don’t Stop the Party”.

 

John's music writing and production credits go way back to the 90's creating music for Black Ops entertainment's "Black Dawn" & "Treasures of the Deep" Game works "Home Run Derby" & "Kick It" Sony Pictures "Dream for an Insomniac" and various electronic music cues with Trevor Rabin for "Armageddon". 

 

MOBIUS8 has also been working with Cirque Du Soleil founder and philanthropist, Guy Laliberte, and the DJ Duo Bedouin. Together they created a new musical project titled "CandyWorld" which had performances multiple times at Heart in Ibiza, Montreal, and even Black Rock City at Burning Man. These performances also featured the world renowned opera singer, Delaram Kamareh and the internet viral sensation guitar/keyboardist Gabriel Guardian.
